I have been a Vegetarian for well over 40 years now.Way back, it was still considered “cranky” - in fact,I think that’s why Crank’s Restaurant first opened in London? anyhow, I am SO PLEASED QUORN is available in such great ranges. Absolutely love it.Children who visit, love Quorn on sticks to dip in sauce.Fantastic choices of food. When I visited my family in US, we had Quorn fillets instead of Turkey for Thanksgiving. My brother was a convert - he thought it WAS a Turkey he was eating….

The only comment I would add, is the name Quorn. When I tell my friends who visit for meals, they have just eaten Quorn, without exception, they always make reference to Sweetcorn!!! I have now lots of converts off meat - which is the main aim for me.

    My motto:

SAVE AN ANIMALS LIFE, SAVE YOUR OWN HEALTH AND LIFE.

I have used Quorn for many years, particularly the mince which makes a fantastic lasagne, and find it versatile and tasty as well as healthy and good value for money. Far superior to the usual TVP type products available.

As always the main problem with Quorn products is finding a good range of them at any one store. Our Sainsburys Milton Keynes is pretty good, but my daughter uses Sainsburys at Biggleswade and that doesn’t have nearly as many products. Another example is Quorn frozen dippers - these are low value on the Slimming World plan my partner uses, but the only place that sells them is Tesco so we have to visit Tesco just for thatb one item.

What about a Mail Order Shop, or subsidising some outlets to sell the complete range?

Switched to Quorn about 5 weeks ago. Have lost a much needed 11 lbs. Fortunately the Tesco’s near me carries a really good range of Quorn products. Not as many as you have shown but some of them. I would like to try more if I can get them. Can you tell me stores in Northampton that carry a full range please.

    Thanks

I have been eating quorn products ever since they came on the market. However, I am frustrated by the packaged quorn slices. Once opened, they soon curl up and dry (in the fridge, of course) Why does the company not come up with re-sealable packs? I often have to throw some away!!

Have used Quorn products for a few years now and love the quality of food my only complaint is the Quorn Bacon. You cannot seperate the “rashers” properly. Why can they not be seperate by sheets?

I refuse to eat cheap, unethical meat. I love Quorn because it is much cheaper than organic meat, very versatile and has a nicer texture. Just one problem - I have low haemoglobin and the doctors are forever telling me that I should eat meat. Is there any way Quorn products could be made iron-rich so they have all the advantages but none of the disadvantages of meat?

For some people re-creating the taste of meat is important (though not for me) and I have found that a combination of Halloumi cheese and Quorn frozen burgers makes for a good “lamb kebab” taste. Cook the frozen burgers as described on the box and in the same frying pan fry some slices of Halloumi till browned on sides. Now just combine on a burger roll with some tomato sauce and savour. Alternatively cut the burger into pieces and place with the Halloumi in a warm pitta bread. Add finely shredded cabbage and a skoosh of chilli sauce. Enjoy.
Also Farm Foods have a good selection of Quorn products at great prices.

Hi Yvonne - I think you’re asking about the breaded goujons http://www.quorn.co.uk/products/Breaded_Goujons.aspx and the crispy chicken style nuggets http://www.quorn.co.uk/products/Crispy_Chicken_Style_Nuggets.aspx. The goujons are available at Sainsbury’s and the crispy chicken style nuggets are available at Asda, Morrisons and Somerfield/Co-Op. I hope this is helpful.
